If you’re looking for a relaxing lunch spot, then you really don’t need to look further than the Halekulani Hotel. The two restaurants located at this acclaimed 5-star hotel, Orchids and House Without A Key, both have a magical calming touch that will enhance your sense of rest and relaxation. The ambience and impeccable service, the sound of the waves, and of course, their indulgent signature coconut cake.
The original plan was to have afternoon tea at Halekulani’s laid back veranda. It was a good plan, so good, that many others made similar plans. Not interested in waiting around, we instead decided to walk over to House Without A Key, Halekulani’s informal restaurant, for a light lunch.
While having a pretty laid back morning this past Wednesday (which happened to be a Hawaiian holiday, Prince Kuhio Day), I suddenly had a craving for beef cheeks. Yes, beef cheeks. Before I told him of my lunch plans, I had already made reservations on OpenTable.
