When was the last time you visited the Honolulu Museum of Art? I’ll admit, it’s been a while since I last walked through the halls of Oahu’s premier art museum. We decided to swing by for the Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday “Blueprint” event and while there, decided to enjoy Sunday brunch at the HoMA Cafe.
The program for the Blueprint event.
They had a lot of activities for the keiki and parents…
The menu is short, but has all the essentials…
An Arnold Palmer to start…
This is the kids breakfast plate. It wasn’t on the menu, but our waitress mentioned that it was available. It includes half a waffle topped with fruits, eggs, and ham.
I ordered the Herb-Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich, topped with crispy maple bacon, avocado, melted fontina, and caper aioli on a house-baked bun. I would order this again!
We also ordered the New York steak with scrambled eggs and salsa verde. This dish came with a side of HoMA greens and herb roasted fingerling potatoes.
A fun activity that had many of the keiki busy was the sculpture booth. Can you tell what they were sculpting?
