What a difference a few short years make. We first wrote about the Aloun Farms Pumpkin Patch in 2012. Exploration: Hawaii was a little over a year old and we had a small, yet loyal following. Five years later, we went back to Aloun Farms to do some pumpkin picking, this time, with a little pumpkin of our own.
Walk along the makeshift dirt road…
The Waianae Mountain Range and the Honolulu Rail Project loom over the pumpkins.
Trying to find a great pumpkin.
I think we got one.
And so did these guys…
The sunflowers are also popular.
My favorite surprise was the Hokkaido Ice Cream with Hawaiian Honey Combs treat that we picked up at the end. One for me and one for the little dude.
