A Night of Cooking With Chef Russell Siu at 3660 on the Rise

I’m no cook, I just eat a lot. True story. So when Michelle asked if I wanted to attend a cooking class at 3660 on the Rise, it was with thought that I asked my series of follow up questions. Of course, there was the prerequisite questions of who, what, and where…but most important to me was the question that involved the what. I asked, “What will I need to do at this cooking class?” and she said, “watch him cook and then eat.” I was in. “OK, let’s go cook.” I said.

Delicious taro rolls. I’d visit 3660 just for these rolls.

To start, gazpacho with bay shrimp.

Baked Calamari with crab meat stuffing and marinara sauce.

More wine.

The entree was braised oxtail with carrots, potato, onion, and tomato. I’m not going to lie, this was the main reason why we attended the cooking class. Delicious.
