Tucker & Bevvy Does Breakfast With Tim Tams and Ice Cream

I’m not gonna lie, the only reason that I had for visiting Tucker & Bevvy was so that I could have Tim Tams and ice cream for breakfast. The newest Tucker & Bevvy, a breakfast concept, popped up late last year, and is sort of the big brother to their smaller picnic food shop at the Park Shore Hotel on the corner of Kalakaua & Kapahulu Ave.

I had a plantation iced to tea start. They also have a nice selection of fresh, pressed to order juices, that is definitely worth checking out. I’m just a sucker for plantation iced tea.

And of course a side of bacon. Mmm… what better way to start breakfast than with a side bacon.

Joel settled on the roast beef hash, with potatoes, red onions, and two over easy eggs. They like to serve lunchy things for breakfast.

I had the roasted veggie omelette with eggplant, peppers, sweet potato, and zucchini. It’s topped with pesto and mozzarella. I had to offset the Tim Tams and ice cream somehow, right?

And for dessert (of course you can have dessert for breakfast), the reason for our visit: the Tim Tam waffle with ice cream and maple syrup. First of all, what a great waffle. Crisp on the outside and light and airy on the inside. Drizzle the maple syrup on the top and ohhh my goodness. Thank you, Australia.
